What is “Tam Roi”? Everyone must have heard the word “Tam Roi” in the southern dialect, which means delicious. However, when the word “Tam Roi” is combined with other words, the mood while speaking, and the situation in which it is used, the context of the message will change. For example, “This shadow puppet theater plays very well.” (meaning this shadow puppet troupe performs very well), “Laeng Roi Kad” (meaning you speak very well), or the word “Tam Roi” when someone says “You cook very well.” It does not mean that you cook very well, but it may mean that you show off very well.
