KARUDUM : The Moonlight Frolic
KARUDUM: Moonlight Frolic
In Chana village, the moonlight shimmering above the rooftops signals something magical — it's the children's extra hour of joy. After finishing their Quran studies, it's time to play. This is The Moonlight Frolic.
We initiated a project where local children design their own play space — a place born from their voices and needs. Adults join in, bringing their imaginations to life. This is Karudum — a dialect word meaning collaboration.
With Karudum, the beach becomes a playful park through multi-generational engagement. New objects of play are developed and traditional games return, emerging in this versatile space.
Tonight, seek the moonlight — and play
Play like the people of Chana.
