Ya (Jai) Dom
This exhibition invites us to take a closer look at why many of us carry an inhaler in our pockets.
How did this tiny object become a signal of needing to be “saved” on days that don’t feel okay?
How does scent make us feel safer, calmer, warmer — just by breathing it in?
And if one day there’s nothing left to lean on — neither nose nor heart — where would we rest?
Let’s explore what calms us through soft scents, the core of CBT therapy, and little letters we write to ourselves for the not-so-okay days.
Together, we’ll design our very own invisible inhaler — the one we can always carry, even when no one sees it. Ya(Jai)Dom — Inhaler for the Heart.
A collaboration between CBT Dee Tor Jai (a kind-hearted CBT therapy group), Apiban Borplub, a gentle Thai aromatherapy shop in Songkhla’s Nakhon Nai street, and Studio Cantalove, a card-making friend who writes with love.
